Mexico: Day 3-5

April 20, 2011

Over the remaining days of the trip there were many memorable moments at Hacienda Tres Rios. . .

There was a sunrise so spectacular I could literally feel my soul being touched.

There were hours upon hours spent sunbathing underneath the tropical sun with multiple tequilajitos.

There were naps on luxurious sunbeds when our skin needed a break from the powerful rays.

There were also more glamorous photo shoots that drew inquisitive looks all around us.

There were surprises awaiting us in our room from secret admirers.

There was a dinner cooked in front of us by the famed Chef Oscar that left me a changed woman.

There was a sexy fire show on the beach underneath the moonlight.

And it because of memorable moments like these that I will keep returning to Mexico over and over and over again.

Wow, what a fabulous picture of the sunset. Love the way the rays are radiating out. Those beds on the beach are fabulous. I experienced them in Punta Cana – great place to relax and take a nap out of the sun!

Thanks so much for your sweet words, it was actually a sunrise! One of my ONLY sunrises haha, as I’m NOT a morning person. Yeah, I could just move into one of those sunbeds…don’t need a home! πŸ˜‰

Amen sista! I REALLY got that after my trip to the Bahamas. When I’m home that’s all I’m doing is running around like crazy and then when I travel that’s all I do is continue to run around like crazy. I need MORE relaxing moments! Now when are WE gonna finally travel together? πŸ˜‰

Do you think that Mexico is getting an unfair reptuation?

Oh absolutely yes I think Mexico has an unfair reputation, I talked a little about that in my 1st post. I was hoping that through my posts I would be able to change the perception of the country in some kind of way even if it was insignificant. It’s an extraordinary country that absolutely deserves to be visited! I have traveled solo there many, many times and never once had any issues. Thanks for your kind words!
