I was given a sneak peak at some of the pictures that the incredibly talented photographers Frances and Duff took of the day I surprised Lucas from start to finish. I decided to share the pictures with you, but I am not going to explain what is happening in each one. That I will save for when I have all of the pictures!

I am trying to imagine Lucas’ joy and I do not think I can wrap my mind around that kind of elation. I have been away from Elijah for a month now and we are looking at another three months of long distance… what I wouldn’t give to be able to hug him, surprise him and make me smile. Your and Lucas’ love gives me hope and makes me happy.

You look absolutely gorgeous! And I am in LOVE (appropriately enough) with the last photo. We did a painting with light picture during our engagement session, but it was not nearly as cool as yours – no fault of Kyle and Seba’s, obviously, but we had neither sparklers nor two other people to spell out a word. I can’t wait to see more!
