Although I hardly travel these days for business due to having a baby, I definitely took advantage of every single business trip to explore my nearby surroundings before becoming a mother. Sometimes I would try to arrive earlier than my business meetings to have a couple of days to myself. If that was not a possibility, then after my business meetings would end for the day, I would drink a strong cup of coffee and head out to see and do as much as I could before bedtime. I was always exhausted after a business trip was over, but it was definitely worth it! One of my most memorable business trips was in Hong Kong. I had no idea how to speak Cantonese, however I did not let that stop me from exploring every inch of the city. I made so many unforgettable memories on that trip!
