How To Choose A Wedding Limousine

May 8, 2018

There are many things that contribute to a good wedding day: the clothes, the music, the food and of course, the limousine.

Everyone wants to make a grand entrance and ride in style on their big day. Needless to say, hiring a limo is a big deal.

However, it is important to choose the right limo for your wedding day. The wrong choice of limousine can ruin a wedding day, be it with lateness or simply by looking out of place.

Choosing the right limo can be a tricky process and that is why some guidance is needed.

Conduct Research On The Vehicle

First of all you must conduct your research. Some people have always dreamt of showing up to their wedding in a clean white limo while others prefer a black vehicle to make their entrance.

Visit the websites of limousine services. Most times, the website will have a listing of the company’s fleet of vehicles.

If the type or color of limousine you want is not available, make sure to call and inquire. Most times, the company will be able to arrange one for you at an added cost.

Book Ahead

As early as six months before the wedding date, conduct research on limousine service around your area and book ahead to avoid any potential delays.

These services often get overbook in the months before popular wedding seasons like winter and spring. To avoid finding yourself in a difficult situation where you are unable to book a limousine, do this as early as possible.

Distance

Make sure your limousine service is close to both where you will be preparing for your wedding and the wedding venue. The commute to both venues might take quite some time and you don’t want to be in a hurry during the big day.

Compare the distance from your prospective limousine service and your various venues on Google maps before you make a booking.

Specifications

Also book a limousine to your specifications. Choose a limousine that is in your choice color and is large enough to accommodate your wedding party or whoever will be riding in it. Explain to the owners of the service how many people will be riding and confirm that the vehicle in question can accommodate everyone.

If possible, visit the limousine service to see the vehicle that will be used for your wedding ahead of time to make sure it is to your liking. Enter the vehicle if possible and make sure you can exit and enter with ease.

Give Time Allowance

When picking your time for pickup, make sure you give some time allowance. Keeping in mind that traffic and other factors might cause delay, ask for the limousine to pick you up at a time that is about 30 minutes earlier than when you need to depart. This will reduce the chances of you being held up or arriving at your wedding venue late.

Conclusion

Picking a limousine service for your wedding is a very crucial task that must be approached with all seriousness.

It is important to conduct proper research, make inquiries and plan ahead to ensure the smoothest journey. Many companies such as limohiremelbourne offer various limo services, including for weddings.

All these resources will come in handy as hiring a limo is a must for your wedding!

Yeah, you are so right, the food, the music, the dress, the function room, the guests, the limousine are just a few of the things to take care of when planning one’s wedding. I had my share though I didn’t opt for a limousine, however, this is my sister’s and they wanted a limousine instead. So I have no idea on how to go about it other than do some research and check those who have already gone through with this type of car before. Thanks, for these tips, a great help!
