Buttermilk Falls County Park

This trail offers access to the tallest waterfall in New Jersey, a glacially forged lake, hemlock groves, and a platform that provides views of the Kittatinny Mountains. You can also connect to the Appalachian Trail, as well as the Crater Lake and Hemlock Pond trails.

Kennedy Dells County Park Loop Hike

Kennedy Dells County Park Loop has two hiking trails which you can combine. You can bring your leashed dog along and you might encounter a horseback rider or two. You will walk along a stream as you go around the park and waterfall. You can add even more drama when you get to the remains of a bridge and dam.

Lake Falls 

Many consider Lake Falls to be the most remarkable waterfall in the Adirondack area. Internet photos simply do not do it justice. The drop is around 500-600 feet, so it is for more experienced hikers. Its beauty is worth it, so if you are experienced, you should see these falls.

Dover Stone Church Reserve Park

Dover Stone Church Reserve Park has a steep trail that takes you to a church-like cave structure with a 30-foot waterfall. It is a walk that even children could make. You will walk over white sand through a red cedar forest and see unique and endangered plants and animals.
