Oklahoma is an unusual crossroads due to its fascinating Native American culture and cowboy charm. Oklahoma adds to the rugged mountains, abundant wildlife, and friendly locals that help you to explore it all. My experience of visiting Oklahoma was splendid. The open landscape and the warehouse, rustic look of the city with bars, eateries, and live country music is an entertainment’s mecca. My stay at the hotel was safe with proper hygiene arrangements throughout, which made me spend my vacation in a carefree way.
The beautiful city of Oklahoma made me enjoy every second to the fullest. I was pleased to explore some of the best things around the city. I was drawn by elegant architecture, history, unique culinary scenes, fun activities, and the most luxurious OYO hotels in Oklahoma City.
Dinner And Stay At OYO Hotel Oklahoma City South I-35 And SE 29th
Trust me, my stay at OYO Hotel Oklahoma City is the best decision I made! I highly recommend this hotel for lodging and meals especially when you are traveling on a budget and do not want to spend a dime. The property is spread over an enormous space, which makes it an even better choice if you travel with your kids. I had some time in hand during the morning and evening hours, which I spent roaming around in the free space. Also, the rooms were very clean and completely hygienic which made sure that I comfortably unwind after a hectic day.
I am someone who does not like to spend a lot of time simply commuting to places, so the location of the hotel was another plus for me. All the major tourist spots, popular eateries, and clubs are located in close vicinity to the hotel which makes it very convenient for lazy travelers like me.
I had booked this hotel last minute on the OYO Hotels website and it turned out to be really great. Though, they have other options as well on their site, which I may explore in my trips.
Oklahoma has treats and tastes for everyone visiting the city. I explored the diverse cuisine here from Lebanese to Japanese and tried the famous steaks and BBQ.
Tour To Oklahoma City National Memorial
When in Oklahoma City, you cannot miss visiting the National Memorial & Museum and this would definitely be one of the most memorable experiences that the place has to offer. It made me recall the events of April 19, 1995, and the after-effects of the bombing.
Plaza Walls
Another place that I absolutely loved here was the Plaza Walls. Featuring rotating murals, the Plaza Walls are located in the Plaza District of Oklahoma City. If you have the love of clicking images and getting yourselves clicked at picturesque locations, do not miss the Plaza Walls for anything.
Ferris Wheeler Park
After spending some quiet days exploring the local architecture of Oklahoma city, I decided to add some fun to my trip by visiting the Ferris Wheeler Park. I rode the Ferris wheel with the people I met during my stay at the hotel and it was such an amazing experience.
Since I had not done any outdoor sports for the longest time, I decided to go for Whitewater Raft at Riversport OKC. Without any prior experience, I managed to do whitewater rafting and this made me feel really out of this world. And since guides there were extra cautious I managed to do it without feeling scared.
At night after dinner, I decided to hang out at Skydance Pedestrian Bridge. The Skydance Pedestrian Bridge boasts of modern architecture and it is an iconic place that is worth visiting. Especially, during the night when the bridge is illuminated, the scene is mesmerizing.
Goes without saying, Oklahoma has a lot to offer! From exquisite hotels to fun activities, there is a ton to do.
