“Dear John” — Isle of Palms Pier

In this film, Channing Tatum plays John Tyree, a young soldier on leave who falls in love with Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried), an aspiring college student, during her spring break. Cousins Beach is a fictional town that becomes one of the show’s protagonists, transports its viewers to beautiful settings facing the sea, and makes many want to start planning a trip to the beach. Han noted in an interview with Prime Video that the real-life locations of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, the Hamptons, and Nags Head inspired her made-up Cousins Beach. The series was shot on location in and around Wilmington, North Carolina.

This horror film was shot at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.
