One of the most exciting things that can happen to any of us is moving to a new home. Not only are we going to start a new life in a new place that we love so much and that was decorated just exactly how we want it, but we also get to celebrate that with our friends (and get several presents along the way which is also super cool). Anyhow, it is important to throw the best housewarming party, as nothing less than that suits your personality and the personality of your new home. So, how to do that? Throwing a housewarming party is not like throwing any party – there are things that you need to have in mind. Take a look at some of the tips and tricks on how to do that:

Send out nice invitations

Just like any party, you should start with the invitations. There is no need for you to think about the venue of the party (as it is going to be hosted in your new home – but you can always think whether you will do that in the in the garden or in the living room, kitchen or any other room). So, the first step is the guest list and the invitations. The size of the party depends on you, as you can go with a small party with your closest people, or you can go a bit bigger and invite acquaintances as well. The invitations that you send out should reflect the style and the colors of your new home, and in order to save some money, you can opt for e-vites and send them on different instant massaging apps.

Think of the presents

You will definitely get presents from your family and friends for moving into your new house, even though you are not supposed to expect any. However, as you want something that matches the style of your home, it would be best to register for certain presents that you want and tell the people you know will buy you something. However, bear in mind the following – you will most certainly buy things by yourself and style your home by yourself. If this is the case, then you can always ask your friends to buy you one of the best coffee makers that you can be found on the market. This is something that everyone needs, not only to start our day right, but to also provide comfort and coziness when your guests come to your house. Having good coffee is incredibly important.

The buffet and the bar

When it comes to the food and drinks, everything should be spot-on—after all, this is your housewarming party, and you want to celebrate your new home in style. Finger foods are always a great choice, as they pair perfectly with drinks, are easy to enjoy while mingling, and keep the atmosphere casual yet elegant. To make things extra special, consider hiring a cocktail maker to whip up signature drinks for the night—placing them in your garden bar is an even bigger win. And for a unique twist, explore coffee cart hire so guests can sip on freshly brewed coffee in between cocktails, keeping the energy high well into the night. Of course, don’t forget to stock up on wine, beer, and vodka for those who prefer their drinks neat and classic.

Let you show us around

The time will come when you will have to give everyone the tour of your new house. You can do this in two different ways. The first one is to opt for a small tour for every person as they come, but if you want to save time, you can wait until everyone’s there and only then do a tour of the house for everyone. This might be a more interesting way of doing so as you will not be repeating the same sentences over and over again, but it might be a bit difficult to wait everyone (we all know how excited you are about your new house).

And basically, this is it. There is no need for decorations as your best decoration is your new home and new furniture. Think about the fact that people might stain something in your house, so it would be best to host it outside and only let the people in during the tour of the house. But of course, everything is up to you. May you have a great housewarming party!
