Remember that “cool mode of transportation” I mentioned? Well, imagine driving through the Mexican jungle in this:
Kirsten and I loved the wind in our hair and the sunshine on our smiling faces as we were whisked by various landscapes.
To me, the jungle is the pulse beat of the heart of a country. Every sense is heightened once you enter and this was certainly the case for us.
After we arrived at our destination, it was time to get ready for our second jungle adventure of the day: zip lining. The last time I had zip lined was in Cuba and I had loved every second of it! It is exhilarating to feel, even if only for a brief second, like you are flying above the treetops. The scenery was lusciously green; the perfect backdrop for our adrenaline pumping activity.
And of course I volunteered to go first!
Once we were all safely back on the ground, it was time for our third jungle adventure. . .
So very fun!!! I love that scary glorious feeling of soaring through the air. What a wonderful place to do it! 🙂
It’s such an awesome feeling huh? And I agree, Mexico is a wonderful place to zip line!
This looks like such a fun day! I’ve never been zip-lining, but I’d love to try it someday.
Ooooh, you definitely need to try it, I know you’d LOVE it!
That looks like a truly exhilarating experience!
I am sure that you had a great experience due to all of the smiles that are in almost every photo.
How many different platforms did you zip line to? Or maybe the better question was how long did it take you to complete it?
Thanks for sharing your adventures!
3 platforms! I should have mentioned that. It took about 30 minutes to do the whole thing, but of course it felt like 30 seconds. Definitely soooo exhilarating. 🙂
It’s like being back in Cuba all over again!
And I rode one of those bad boys through the sand dunes in the DR–SO much fun.
I will ALWAYS remember our Cuba experience!!! Would be fun to ride that thing on sand dunes!

That looks like so much fun! I have yet to zip line over the jungle… although I did it at a travel convention last month (but that was indoors so not even close to the real thing!)
You must definitely try it over a jungle once in your life!!!
Looks incredible – definitely worthy of wearing pants 😉
HAHAHAHA, I was waiting and waiting and waiting for someone to make a pants comment! LOVE that you were the 1st. I feel like you should win a prize!!! 😉
Looks fabulous! What a lush backdrop.
So lush! I love that there are still places in this overdeveloped world that are still untouched.
Looks like a slightly scary but still fun ride! =)
Haha, the scary part is what makes it sooooo much fun!!! 😉
I’ve ALWAYS wanted to do a zip line! This looks amazing!
I hope you can do it, you’d LOVE it!
Looks like so much fun, great pics of you two!
Thanks lovely!!! 🙂
oooh! Looks like so much fun! I’ve ALWAYS wanted to go ziplining, even though I’m terribly afraid of heights.
Awww, I hope you can conquer your fears so that you can try it darling!
whewww …looks like a great place for adventure !!! but scary too ..Nice pics
Adventures are usually a bit scary, but to me that’s the best part! Gotta get your heart pumping from time to time!!!
Ahhh, the jungle, don’t you love everything about it?!
And the photo of you and Kirsten up at the top made me laugh, you’re groping each other in those big mitts!
I thought about you as I wrote about the jungle, because I know how much the Amazon touched you. You’ll really like my next post too! 🙂
Oh my gosh I get a rush just looking at those photos! I loved zip lining, but I’m honestly not sure I’d do it again. The zipping was amazing, but my fear of heights made the in between parts less than fun…
Oh no pobrecita!!! I felt the exact same way about sky diving! Loved it, but won’t do it again. Once is enough. 🙂
Zip lining! Oooh, I’ve always wanted to try that. 😀
You two look gorgeous by the way. The sun and the jungle really agrees with you!
You MUST when you move to Mexico!!! Awww what a lovely compliment thank you!
Sweet Ride! You should get one of those to cruise around Buenos Aires.
Hahaha I think the Portenos would be shouting, “Gringa loca!”
I have never zip lined before, but I would love to do it just to get a different perspective of the jungle.
It’s quite a lot of fun! But it’s over before you know it.
Zip lining is one of those things I never thought I’d do but have done twice and I love it. You got such great photos of you gliding through the jungle!
I’ve done it twice too! So much fun, right? Thanks for your kind words re: the photos.
Zipling is so much fun – well, for me, once I got over my mini freak out at how high up it was!!
I was okay with zip lining, but I definitely had a freak out when sky diving. If I hadn’t been pushed out of the plane, I’m not sure I would have jumped out myself.
