You already know how much I love this format for telling the story… it’s postcard meets photoessay and it is really enjoyable. I have been traveling vicariously through you and your love and I do not want the honeymoon posts to end!

Ew, the lizard on the plate is gross. Reminds me of the times my family and I have been to Jamaica for mission trips and the numerous times we’ve found little reptiles like that in our showers! 🙂
I love how you wrote on the pictures like that, very pretty.
Thank you for your comment on my Insta snippets post, Andi! You are sweet 🙂

Haha my husband loved the lizards! He fed them every day, so by the end of the trip we had like 20-30 on our terrace. I’m so glad you enjoyed the pics! 🙂

I love the little lizard, but oh my gosh, the picture of the turtle! That is just amazing – what an incredible animal to see up close, especially in such a gorgeous setting.

Felicitaciones Andi:) Now you’ve made me want to visit Brazil more than ever. In fact the whole of South America is calling my name because I haven’t been there YET;)

Love the pic of the lizard finishing off your food. We had a gecko in our home in Panama that would come and lick the sticky bits left behind my by evening chocolate indulgences. So cute:)

The picture of the turtle is stunning, Andi! It’s so hard to get good underwater shots when snorkeling I think, at least for me because I am COMPLETELY buoyant and can’t stay under for even a minute. So I’m doubly impressed!

Haha and I’m the opposite! I feel like it’s such a challenge to take good underwater shots when diving because usually the clarity of water is so dark, whereas with snorkeling it’s so bright. Anyway, thank you for the compliment, coming from you it’s huge, because I greatly admire your underwater shots.

I love sharks! I think they are such magnificent creatures. I have swam with them dozens of times, so I followed him or her for a while. Actually, there were several. But, my poor husband is TERRIFIED of them and swam in the other direction. I’m so so so proud of him for not getting out of the water though. He totally faced his fears that day! XO

Bravo Brasilia! Congratulations. What a beautiful memory of your trip, loved the Gekko. I’ve just discovered my own passion for underwater life, and we’re packing in as much diving and snorkeling as possible, as part of our own rtw adventure. Can’t wait to explore Brazil, it looks amazing. PS Any tips on how to un-man my own travel blog, http://flashpackatforty.com/ , as I really love the design of your stylish blog. Congrats again.

Wow! What hotel did you guys stay in? Would you recommend it? I travelled around South America for a year but, shockingly, never made it to Brasil! I guess the west coast countries hooked me in and I couldn’t leave 🙂 Definitely want to travel there at some point!

I would have probably freaked out spotting the little lizard next to my breakfast. I get this kind of little guests during the hot summer months when they look for sanctuary in the shadows of my living room. This is Spain, baby! 😛

OMG, these are such amazing photos and I loved reading through the captions on them. The one with the lizzard is so funny too, I probably would have screamed. I hope I can go on a honeymoon one day as beautiful as yours. Great blog, following you on twitter too 🙂
