To see more photos from Recoleta Cemetery, please take a look at Part 1. Because the photo opportunities were abound, I limited myself to only a hundred photos. It was quite a challenge for me, but I also found it welcoming, since it forced me to be more critical with my eye and to edit inside of the view finder before taking the photo.
More photos to come soon. . .
Really love these photos! The one with the chains and lock is one of my faves, but you did such a great job with this set that it was hard to pick.
Thank you so much, what a compliment!!! XO
Wonderful photos! This cemetery reminds me the one from Milan.
Thank you! I would love to see the one in Milan.
I know I shared this on your last post, but I love these photos and the wonderful memories they bring back of my time in Portugal. 🙂 The cemetery is one of my favorite places to visit. Always quiet, always peaceful, a haven for memories and thoughts. Beautiful, Andi. 🙂
Your words ARE beautiful! I’m dying to visit Portugal one day. Glad you could relive some memories through my posts.
I just love your photos!! When were you here in Buenos Aires?
Thank you sooo much!!! I was there the 1st 2 weeks in January. 🙂
Hey, let me know if you come back, I guess we have some things in common about Argentina 😉 And I would love to get some photography tips from you, if you have some time! 🙂
I will for sure let you know when we return. It will probably be in 6 months? I’m always happy to share photography tips!!! Besos!
It seems like everyone I know who ever goes to Recoleta does so on a gray day! I guess it would be odd to be there with bluebird skies, eh? =)
It’s ALWAYS cloudy when I walk through Recoleta Cemetery, but well it sets the mood perfectly.
Whoa beautiful photos! The cemetery looks good with suited statues. I thought you were in the park if I don’t read the title. Nice post!
Regards.

Thank you so much dear!
I was hoping after the first batch of photographs that there would be a sequel. Not only is there a sequel, it is right on par with the original as far as amazing photography.
Awww you’re such a sweetheart, thank you dear! One more post to follow soon.
Love that last shot!
It’s my favorite!
That first angel against the sky took my breath away. Love, love the lock and chain as well. So gorgeous.
Wow, thank you sweetheart!
I love looking at a cemetery in another country – so many stories to be told!
Me too! 🙂
I especially love the way you captured the stained glass
Thanks sweetheart!
