Watching | Devious Maids and Mistresses
> Now that Joaquín goes to bed at 8PM, I can resume watching my guilty pleasures on TV every once in a while and these are two of my favorite Summer programs.
Reading | Blogs
> I have not had time to sit down and read a book in about 5 years. I stick to blogs and if I am lucky I will get through half a newspaper or a magazine.
Working On | Redesigning and rebranding
> This August you will be seeing a new and improved My Beautiful Adventures! I have been working with a design firm for the last several months to come up with a website that truly defines me. Travel will still be the center focus, but there will also be a lot of life, style, family, and photography content as well.
Feeling | Excited and inspired
> Since becoming a Mom, finding balance in my life has been extremely challenging. Something clicked though over the last couple of weeks and everything seems to be falling back into place. I suppose I made peace with the situation? My anxiety has been replaced with excitement and inspiration and I cannot put into words how good that feels.
Planning | On buying a house
> Lucas and I have set a goal date of January 1, 2016. Hopefully, we will have the keys to our fist home by then.
Loving | The moment
> I wish I could stop time, as my son is growing at such a fast pace, however I am loving his current age. It seems like each day he does something new and his personality is really starting to show. He might look like the spitting image of his Dad, but we are like two peas in a pod when it comes to his personality — he is so curious, fearless, joyful, and stubborn as can be!
My Favorite Photo | One that was not planned
> I planned a Mommy and Me photo shoot for Joaquín’s half-Birthday and of course he did not cooperate in the slightest bit. I gave up and afterwards to cool him down from being outside I took his brand-new clothes off and let him play in the nursery with just a diaper on. My husband snapped a few photos of us and I absolutely adore them.
