Many Places To Collect From Around the World

April 21, 2021

So, do you like traveling to other countries and bringing back cool new things to show your friends? Have you ever thought of showing them off? Well, here are some simple ways to do so:

Spare Room

If you happen to have a ground floor room that you are currently not using or transfer the stuff in the room into another room, why not add a display area in there if you want to show off the stuff you get from other countries. A great way to do this is to add some barn door hardware in the doorway and put a cool sliding door blocking the room.

When friends come over, you can display that Inca statue you got from South America, or some cool mummy memorabilia from that trip you took to Egypt, or that samurai sword you bought in Japan. You can add all of that to this type of room, and all of your friends will be jealous and blown away by all the cool stuff you collected from your travels overseas.

Display Area

There are so many cool places to collect stuff from and you can collect from every country. So, if you travel a lot, a collection room would be pretty cool. What do you need to make a collection room work? First, you have to have a place to store all of the stuff you collected. Maybe you want to get a few trophy cases for your valuable purchases? Maybe you need a few display cases or a bookshelf? Maybe you could use some hanging decorations? The point is whatever you get overseas, you are going to want to store it in something that will allow you to show off your cool collections.

Destinations

There are so many places to visit to get cool items from. If you want my opinions, I will list a few places you should start.

  • Japan

Why not go to Japan? The culture is amazing. You can enjoy the vast majority of hot springs, and they have great food. Tokyo has the best shopping center in the world, and their wrestling is amazing. There are so many cool things you could get from Japan. You can get samurai swords, katanas, Tanto and so much more. There is so much to see and do in Japan, and do not get me started on the amazing culture. Japan has a long history spanning thousands of years. There’s so much you could see on an adventure to Japan.

  • Egypt

Now, this is a culture ripe with adventure. There is sand and mummies. There are amazing sights and collectibles in Egypt. Some pictures of you in front of the Great Pyramid would be great to show off, and maybe something you could hang on your wall.

  • Small Island Adventure

There are many islands to explore and seek adventure on, and finding a seashell could even be one of those things that could end up in your collection. There are so many things to do, beaches to explore, paths to hike, waterfalls to see, and so much more. You never know what is awaiting you on an island adventure. So many places to see and so many things to collect from each location.

  • More Travel Ideas

There are great places to go on a vacation, and all of them will most certainly lead to finding good things to put into your collection when you return from your trip. There are places like Europe, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Amsterdam, China, Australia, New Zealand, Bora Bora, Peru, France, England, Scotland, and many more exotic and exciting adventures to take.

Unless you are rich, it is doubtful that you will make it to all of the countries. However, even on a smaller income, you could still visit a few of them and be proud of the collections that you bring back, because they will, without a doubt, attract interest from your friends and family. With so much to explore and collect, you should start with some display cases in your living room, or dining room area, maybe the entryway. The reason a display case is good is that if you or someone you are inviting over has kids, they cannot knock things over or break them. So be proud of your treasured collection and show it off.
