2. Rome, Italy

Rome is Italy’s capital city and one of Europe’s most charming. The Colosseum, Vatican City, and Ancient Rome are all here, making it a fantastic destination for travelers who want to explore history. Beyond that, there is beautiful art and architecture throughout many areas of Rome. Walking through neighborhoods like Trastevere is a great way to discover what Rome has to offer visitors. Add in a few Italian meals, and you have yourself an unforgettable time! Food, history, and a sunny, Mediterranean climate — what more could you want from your European adventure?

3. Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona is often thought of as one of Europe’s capital cities of nightlife, but it is really much more than that. Situated on a beautiful Mediterranean coastline with great weather throughout most of the year, Barcelona offers incredible food, a wide array of festivals and celebrations throughout each season, and breathtaking architecture. If you love history, then Barcelona may just be your perfect vacation spot! Sports fans can even catch a game from one of the world’s best-known soccer teams FC Barcelona, or enjoy a tour of the team’s home ground, Camp Nou.

4. San Francisco, California

Situated on a dramatic peninsula between San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean, San Francisco is one of North America’s most popular tourist destinations. If you want to go sightseeing, there are plenty of things to do in San Francisco. San Francisco has tons of Art Deco buildings for those interested in urban architecture. When visiting San Francisco, make sure you see such landmarks as Golden Gate Bridge and Coit Tower. These exciting attractions will help your trip be truly unforgettable!

5. Chicago, Illinois

The Windy City is not only a mecca for architecture, but it is also a great place to take on an adventure.
