Singapore – The Jewel Of Southeast Asia

Southeast Asia is one of the most popular tourism regions in the world, with many tropical countries that make up the Asia-Pacific region and nestled into the continent is a small island state that is known as the jewel of Southeast Asia, namely Singapore.

Here are some of the unique attractions that Singapore has to offer the visitor:

There is an international feel about this small city/state, a cosmopolitan ambience exudes and you should definitely spend a day walking around Little India. Small adventures are memorable and this is one to cherish.
  • Singapore Zoo – Animal lovers should not miss the opportunity to see wildlife in a natural habitat; 26 hectares of natural habitat; many of the animals were rescued very young and consequently, would not survive in the wild. This was the first zoo in the world to adopt an ‘open concept’ whereby animals are housed in specific landscapes, which offers a unique perspective and a comfortable environment for all the creatures.
  • Jewel Changi Airport – If you were thinking the airport is just a place to catch flights, think again; this is a unique airport in so many ways. The huge dome is host to more than 250 vendors, with restaurants open 24/7 and the layout is unique; check out the hourly light and sound show and take a photo by the impressive 40m waterfall. This is one airport that you do not wish to leave!
