Review: Amara

May 17, 2018

I recently discovered a travel lover’s dream website: Amara. After finishing this post, do yourself a favor and go straight there to see their gorgeous travel product collection. Of course, their website is not just about travel, they sell a myriad of lifestyle products, but their travel products are the best of the best.

Amara has gone through many changes since its inception in 2005, but they never lost touch with what is important: luxury style and quality service. Initially starting life as an interior design business, Amara has always been about bringing designer style and expert knowledge to every home. Created by husband and wife team, Andrew and Sam Hood, the company has utilised their combined strengths from the very beginning. With each customer, came a new experience and new lessons to be learned, forming the basis for the continued Amara ethos that “exceptional customer service is paramount.” Today, Amara proudly houses over 300 of the world’s most luxurious home fashion brands.

My favorite piece from Amara? It is easily the Ted Baker Oriental Blossom suitcase. When I first saw the suitcase I literally gasped. I had to have it for my future travels! Here are the details:

  • Hardcase suitcase
  • Material: 100% polycarbonate
  • Dimensions: H69.5xW46xD27.5cm
  • Pale pink dotted exterior with the Oriental blossom floral print in the center
  • Ultra-lightweight
  • Ted Baker signature print interior
  • Internal storage compartments for optimal packing
  • 4 x smooth rolling 360° wheels
  • Extending handle for easy maneuverability

I am pleased to say that it held up perfectly during my trip to Kissimmee, Florida. I wanted to use it before reviewing it. Now I can honestly say that this luggage delivers everything it promises and more. One of the best things about it? You will never have to wonder if that is your luggage amongst a sea of black luggage, since the pink stands out. Plus, the rose gold accents are to-die-for gorgeous. I cannot wait to bring this with me to the Turks and Caicos next week.
