Chile, Argentina & Uruguay: Day 2 (Part 3)

December 18, 2010

For the third look, I ditched the lingerie for a gown and I am to appear as though I am on my way to the “event” (in case you missed the first and second looks, click here and here).

By the time we made it to the rooftop, it was already mid-day and not only did our stomachs need nourishment, but my face could not stand one more smile.  After this experience I now have an enormous amount of respect for models.  Playing one for the day was enough for this lifetime.  I think I will stick to healing people instead!

Once the last shot was taken, I quickly threw on some street clothes and the three of us headed to a restaurant around the corner from the hotel.  I must have been some sight with my dramatic makeup and hair.

I am so grateful that I found the courage to face my fears and go through with the photo shoot.  I highly recommend all women having at least one boudoir session in their life.  Whether it is to celebrate an occasion or just to say you did it, trust me, you will treasure the pictures forever.

So, which is your favorite picture?

Editors note:

*Hair and makeup was done by the extraordinary Rodrigo Farah.  If you are in Santiago and are in need of these services, do not go to anyone else.

*Fashion info: dress (BCBG), engagement ring (Le Vian), shoes (Zara Espana), sunglasses (Chanel), earrings (Alex Bittar)

oooh my faves are #4 (with the sunglasses) #6 & #7 (the way Kyle used lines to lead your eyes to the subject – you – awesome) and the last black and white (seductive!)

i agree. a boudoir session is something every girl should do – embrace and celebrate your beauty and sexuality!

I looooved this dress. So happy I got to see it again! I totally know what you mean about facing these kinds of fears. I’ve had to get my picture taken at a lot of events since I moved back, and I had such anxiety. During the first few months, you can totally tell how uncomfortable I am. Then I just got used to it. Maybe someday I’ll take the leap and do a photoshoot like this! As always, an inspiration, mi amiga.

This looks really fun. I really wanted to do one of those retro pin up photo sessions, and I decided against it based on price. I really regret it and wish I had just gone for it.

Andi, you look absolutely incredible in every single shot by the fabulous Kyle. I loved all three of the looks, but I think my favorite was the first one. Your natural beauty is on display in those photos, and you should give yourself a pat on the back for having the guts to pull off such an amazing boudoir session.

Gorgeous!!! Kyle really is a talented photographer and you are a beautiful model! It’s amazing, I can’t really choose ONE fav picture, but I’d say the in between shoot is really something, I love the dramatic yet sexy look. And the light is very nice too!
