You already know how much I love this format for telling the story… it’s postcard meets photoessay and it is really enjoyable. I have been traveling vicariously through you and your love and I do not want the honeymoon posts to end!
I know how much you love it, that’s why I keep doing it hahaha! 😉 Thank you so much for your love and support — it’s greatly appreciated darling! Sadly, I only have 2 more honeymoon posts left.
Love the underwater shots! I love the shark!! Yay!
My poor husband was so scared of the sharks, but he embraced his fear and went snorkeling with them anyway! I’m very proud of him!!!
The turtle shot is post card perfect!!! in fact, all of them are!!! What a beautiful place!! What is the closest city to fly to/from? Rio? Cant wait to go to brazil someday!
You have to fly into Recife and there are limited flights to FDN per day. I want to go to Brasil with you bonita!!! Glad you like the photos. 🙂
Love the concept of this post. Each pic was basically like a postcard…great stuff:)
Thank you so much! I’ve done this for a couple of posts and everyone seems to like it. Yay!
Ew, the lizard on the plate is gross. Reminds me of the times my family and I have been to Jamaica for mission trips and the numerous times we’ve found little reptiles like that in our showers! 🙂
I love how you wrote on the pictures like that, very pretty.
Thank you for your comment on my Insta snippets post, Andi! You are sweet 🙂

Haha my husband loved the lizards! He fed them every day, so by the end of the trip we had like 20-30 on our terrace. I’m so glad you enjoyed the pics! 🙂
Awesome post!
Thanks Lisa!
Congrats Andi on your marriage!
Thanks Anne!
I LOVE these postcard posts! The turtle pictures is amazing and Brazil still blows me away with all of the amazing places hidden away…

These honeymoon posts are all SO beautiful and breath taking, I couldn’t picks my favorite. But I have to say, this one gave me the shivers! Totally adding Brasil to my list of dream destinations 🙂
I love the writing on the pictures as well, very nicely done.
I’m so happy you are sharing all this so we can imaginary travel with you!! I had a rustic honeymoon and although it was amazing, the scenery wasn’t this dreamy 😉
Virginie xo
Awww what an amazing comment darling, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! You absolutely must add Brasil to your dream destinations. I promise it won’t disappoint. I loved sharing the intimate details of our honeymoon — it was the best trip of my life to date! XO
What a honeymoon ~
Fabulous, and a real trip to remember 🙂
Absolutely, we’ll never ever forget it!!! 🙂
Que vidaaaaaa!
Jajaja gracias!
your life is like a fairytale vacation !
Awwww that’s lovely! Thank you darling!!!
Hi there, i just needed to drop you a line to say that i thoroughly enjoyed this particular post of yours!
That’s so lovely to hear Ava!
Felicitaciones Andi:) Now you’ve made me want to visit Brazil more than ever. In fact the whole of South America is calling my name because I haven’t been there YET;)
Love the pic of the lizard finishing off your food. We had a gecko in our home in Panama that would come and lick the sticky bits left behind my by evening chocolate indulgences. So cute:)
Oh you must travel to South America the first chance you get! It’s the greatest continent in the world!!! Thanks for your sweet comment love.
The picture of the turtle is stunning, Andi! It’s so hard to get good underwater shots when snorkeling I think, at least for me because I am COMPLETELY buoyant and can’t stay under for even a minute. So I’m doubly impressed!
Haha and I’m the opposite! I feel like it’s such a challenge to take good underwater shots when diving because usually the clarity of water is so dark, whereas with snorkeling it’s so bright. Anyway, thank you for the compliment, coming from you it’s huge, because I greatly admire your underwater shots.
You’re photographs are so full of color! I love your photography style–gorgeous.
Thank you sooo much! I really appreciate it. Brasil is such a colorful place and very easy to photograph!!!
amazing!!! what camera did u use for the underwater pics?
We used an underwater housing case for our Canon S95. 🙂
Amazing!! Your little guests are precious!! x
Haha so cute right???
A shark!?!
Yep! There were tons of them, but don’t worry they were friendly.
Very good pics!
Thanks Royce!
Oh wow! That sea turtle photo…so cute! I don’t know how you could make yourself leave.
Trust me it was PAINFUL!!!
Beautiful shots!

Agree 100% about R&C. Thanks for the kind words about my photos!!! 🙂
Wow – the colors and views are unreal (I thought it was Phuket for a second where there are also beautiful blue vistas!) How quickly did you swim away from the shark? I saw one once and paddled away REALLY quickly!

I love sharks! I think they are such magnificent creatures. I have swam with them dozens of times, so I followed him or her for a while. Actually, there were several. But, my poor husband is TERRIFIED of them and swam in the other direction. I’m so so so proud of him for not getting out of the water though. He totally faced his fears that day! XO
Bravo Brasilia! Congratulations. What a beautiful memory of your trip, loved the Gekko. I’ve just discovered my own passion for underwater life, and we’re packing in as much diving and snorkeling as possible, as part of our own rtw adventure. Can’t wait to explore Brazil, it looks amazing. PS Any tips on how to un-man my own travel blog, http://flashpackatforty.com/ , as I really love the design of your stylish blog. Congrats again.
Thank you sooo much!!! Loved your comment! Yes, beautiful memories indeed and there were actually about 20-30 geckos can you believe it? Underwater life is amazing. When I go snorkeling or diving I seriously get goosebumps every.single.time. It’s beyond magical! Will you be heading to Brasil soon? Please let me know if I can help you with your planning! I’d be happy to answer any blog questions. Email me at AndiPerullo@aol.com. XO

Wow – breathtaking shots! I would be willing to welcome the lizards if it meant waking up to this view!
Thank you SO much!!! Hahaha it’s so funny how some people love and some people hate the lizards. Isn’t that view amazing?

Wow thank you so much Tom!!!
AMAZING PLACE!
So amazing right!?!
These are just gorgeous Andi!
Thank you Sam!!!
Wow! What hotel did you guys stay in? Would you recommend it? I travelled around South America for a year but, shockingly, never made it to Brasil! I guess the west coast countries hooked me in and I couldn’t leave 🙂 Definitely want to travel there at some point!
Please check out the review I did: https://mybeautifuladventures.com/2012/04/16/andis-pick-pousada-maravilha/. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world. You have have have to return to Brasil!!!
I would have probably freaked out spotting the little lizard next to my breakfast. I get this kind of little guests during the hot summer months when they look for sanctuary in the shadows of my living room. This is Spain, baby! 😛
Don’t worry they were well behaved until breakfast was over haha.
Gorgeous photos!

You’re welcome so much and thank you for stopping by my blog! I really appreciate your kind words re: my pics. It’s easy to take pics of Brasil, such a ridiculously gorgeous country!
