A Photographic Look At My Adventures In 2012 + Giveaway

December 3, 2012

I honestly began 2012 with the intention of slowing down my travels.  The previous year was filled with so many adventures (including an international wedding!), that I wanted to focus on establishing roots in Charlotte, North Carolina with my husband.  While we have definitely created a home for ourselves, we also partook on some unexpected trips all over the world.  What can I say?  I find traveling to be completely irresistible!  With 2013 quickly approaching, I thought I would take a look back at the destinations I visited through photos:

Chicago, Illinois

Hong Kong

Bangkok & Koh Mak, Thailand

Macau

Hong Kong

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Dominica

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Banner Elk & Boone, North Carolina

Los Angeles, California

St. Simons Island, Georgia

Southern California

Charleston, South Carolina

Asheville, North Carolina

San Francisco & Napa Valley, California

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

In honor of my unforgettable trips, I have partnered up with Novica, a company that thoroughly advocates exploration, to giveaway a $50 gift certificate (perfect for the upcoming Holidays)!  They have just launched a new feature on their website called Gift Finder, which makes shopping for gifts incredibly easy, since they are divided into helpful categories.  All of the items are handcrafted by talented artisans worldwide and are gift wrapped for free.  If you would like to learn more about why I support this extraordinary company, please click here.

Oooh I would love to read your review! I’m glad you like my photos. Because most of my friends are travelers, I often compare myself to them and feel as though I’m not really traveling that much, but when I do a review like you said I realize just how much I really traveled!

To bring in 2013 I’ll be in Istanbul for about a month with my husband who is Turkish. Even though I’ve been to this magically city on vacation, I’m so excited to be there for a whole month!

Oh my friend, I finally have sufficient internet to access your wonderful site!! I’m able to read the words but because I live out in the boonies I just don’t have enough oomph to comment and load the pics. BUT I just found a fabulous cafe in town that has free Wifi!!! Hooray!! So on my days in town I can catch up on all my Andi goodness. 🙂 XO LOVE this beautiful year you’ve had and know that even when I’m silent, I’m actually cheering wildly for you and loving your beautiful adventures. 🙂 XO

You got some amazing domestic and international trips in this year, Andi! Did you go to the Koh Mak that is near the border with Cambodia? I know there are two, but I’m heading to that one on this trip back to Thailand, can’t wait!

These are excellent! I’ve stopped trying to make plans and assumptions about what is going to happen in a year ahead – it always changes. More travel than less can’t be a bad thing though, right? 😉

I’m planning to visit Italy next year when my niece is spending a semester there for college. I’ve been been on all 7 continents but Europe is the one that I’ve seen the least of (only Great Britain).
