Inn On Biltmore Estate: Asheville, North Carolina

First Impression

While I had visited the Biltmore Estate several times, I had yet to stay in the prestigious Inn on Biltmore Estate — a hotel designed so that guests feel as though they are vacationing like a Vanderbilt.  The luxury hotel, which is located on the 8,000 acre property, is just a short drive away from the estate.  Welcome to a place where dreams come true and fairytales are a part of everyday life.

 Location

Surrounded by the enchanting Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, the Inn on Biltmore Estate will sweep you into a fantasy land.  This is the kind of hotel that inspires awe and wonderment; where every exquisite detail has been carefully planned and perfectly executed.  It is close to the Asheville’s downtown, as well as other surrounding area attractions.

The Room

This stunning hotel is a tribute to luxe country living — Vanderbilt style.  Each room is decorated with a relaxed elegance and contains all of the amenities your heart could desire.  For seven years straight the Inn on Biltmore Estate has made Condé Nast Traveler‘s Gold List.  Every inch is steeped in history; its walls practically bursting with secrets stored throughout centuries.

The Bathroom

The ensuite bathroom is spacious and perfectly compliments the elegance of the room.  It has both a bathtub and shower to fit your bathing needs.

The Extra

Since my husband and I had spent all day exploring the estate’s grounds, we did not have time to eat lunch or dinner.  We ordered champagne and lobster mac n’ cheese from room service.  It took less than 15 minutes to arrive and both the service we received from the attendant and the food was superb!

Why It Is Andi’s Pick

We had arrived to our room late in the evening and had no idea what kind of view we would be awaking to.  When we opened the curtains in the morning we were completely taken aback with what we saw.

After a delicious buffet breakfast filled with Southern comfort food, we headed down to one of the lounge chairs in the hotel’s backyard for a quick rest before returning home.  We could have stayed there all day gazing at the picturesque view in front of us.

Really pretty, right? I wish I had secrets to share. There are 3 ways I get sponsored. 1) I contact the hotel myself and present them my Media Kit. 2) They contact me wanting a review 3) The magazine that I write for sends me on assignment. 3 is the reason why I went to the Biltmore! 🙂 Any time you have questions please feel free to email me. Wow, I had no idea that it was on the Conde Nast list, I would have thought it was a dying relic, great to see that they are keeping it up in a state that keeps it on that prestigious of a list.

Might just be a little out of my price range (and way too classy for my type 🙂 ) but it looks like an amazing place in an amazing setting.
