A Photographic Look At My Thanksgiving In 2012 + Giveaway

January 31, 2013

As per tradition, every Thanksgiving my family and I retreat to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where for 5 glorious days we do nothing but eat, drink, sleep, watch The Godfather marathon, and take long walks on the beach.  Myrtle Beach is definitely not the most exotic destination in the world, however it is the only place where I actually return from a vacation feeling relaxed and refreshed.  The following pictures were taken on Thanksgiving Day.  My husband and I decided to have a Starbucks date on the beach before we sat down for our Thanksgiving feast.

Photography has become one of the biggest passions in my life and that is why I am such a fan of the company MOO.  They too understand the importance of photography and making sure that when photographs are printed, they are done so at the highest quality.  The MOO business cards are a photographer’s dream come true, as they display one’s work in such an interesting and unique way, which is why I am giving away 50 free business cards to 3 lucky winners!

I actually ordered a huge stack of Moo Luxe (triple paper!) for Scott’s and my new company, Odinn, and I have NEVER seen better quality cards! I’ve always liked the idea of using their basic ones, too, with just an assortment of images.

(And my next adventure is actually Asheville! Woohoo! Then Tanzania later that week–bit of a scenery change, ha.)

Moo is the best! Used them for my save the dates (post cards) and guest info cards (luxe business) for my wedding last year. The quality is amazing, prices are great and their customer service is excellent. The luxe business cards are better than advertised. Don’t need any cards myself, just wanted to give moo a virtual hug/high five.

You have such an incredible eye for photography! I love the idea of MOO business cards. We’re heading to South Korea in the fall to teach English, for a year, so it’d be great to get some cards printed! x

My next adventure is sort of a two-part happening this month, first my boyfriend and I travel around the south island of new zealand in a camper van for nearly two weeks, then we fly back to home (for me), Canada! i’m so excited!

Your photos of Myrtle Beach are amazing! Well done.
I just love the idea of a Starbucks date on the beach. Fitting, too, that the company’s logo is a siren 🙂

These photos are stunning! And this giveaway is so timely – I’m badly in need of some new biz cards! My next mini adventure will hopefully be to Marseille in March, then a weekend in Amsterdam in April! Just thinking of those places makes everyday a bit easier 🙂

Beautiful photos, Andi! I can’t publicly say where my next adventure is yet but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be in Eastern Europe!
