Be Back Soon, I Promise!

June 27, 2013

Dear Beloved Readers,

June has been one of the most challenging months of my life to date.  It first began with a nasty staff infection that I contracted on my trip in the Turks and Caicos.  Wow, was that brutal!  Then I found out my Dad had to have emergency open heart surgery.  While the surgery was a success, it was not without many complications and I spent a week in the hospital next to his bedside panicked and endlessly crying.  However, now that I am feeling better and my Dad is on the long road to recovery, it is time to celebrate the positives in life, starting with my husband’s Birthday.  Last year on his Birthday, we returned to his hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina and as luck would have it I came down with a stomach illness that sent me to the hospital on his special day.  He claims that I did not ruin his Birthday, but I know in my heart that I did.  Thus, this year I decided to spoil him rotten with an over-the-top luxury trip to Miami, Florida filled with one surprise after another with some of our closest friends.  In the meantime, please excuse my absence from blogging for a week or two.  My mind, body, and soul need a break, but be rest assured that when I return I will have lots and lots of beautiful adventures to share with you all!

Lots of love,

You deserve a break, guapa! While my last month has just been busy for work and school, I’m in the same state. Don’t you dare turn on your laptop – just enjoy Lucas and your friends and spoil yourself, too! Un besazo a los dos!
