Almost every day I am asked interesting questions from all over the world and I thought I would start sharing my responses to them, along with travel related giveaways. I love questions, thus please feel free to ask me anything in the comments or send me a private message if you prefer.
Q41. What’s the craziest transportation you’ve ever ridden?
A41. I have ridden almost all modes of transportation — from a hot air balloon in Australia to a tuk-tuk in India — but the ride that I think was the “craziest” was when I hopped on the back of a motorcycle in a favela in Brasil. I did not know the driver, however he seemed friendly, it was really hot outside, and he was going to save me from a long walk, thus it seemed (at the time) like a smart decision.
Q42. What kinds of dresses do you recommend for travel? Any specific fabrics?
A42. I do not spend my money on expensive clothes. I would much rather invest it in travel or on accessories like jewelry, shoes, and purses. I buy most of my dresses from Old Navy, Nordstrom Rack, H&M, etc. I love little black dresses, because they work for both day and night and they always look chic. Jersey and cotton travel really well. Another trick is that Anthropologie has a ton of cute and affordable “nightgowns” that actually pass perfectly for dresses.
Q43. I remember you did a boudoir session in Chile once, what was your favorite three pics from there?
A43. Doing a boudoir session was one of the best experiences of my life to date. I was scared beyond words, but I actually found it to be quite liberating and a huge self-confidence booster. Plus, my husband loved the final product! I encourage ALL women to do it no matter your age or weight, just make sure you find the right photographer. You can see all of my photos here.
Q44. What three big cities could you live in for the rest of your life?
A44. Buenos Aires, Barcelona, and Melbourne.
Q45. What type of music do you listen to when flying?
A45. I usually do not listen to music when I am on a plane, as I am more of a movie watcher. Although if I do, my playlist varies widely. One minute I will be listening to classical and the next minute electronica.
