Almost every day I am asked interesting questions from all over the world and I thought I would start sharing my responses to them, along with travel related giveaways. I love questions, thus please feel free to ask me anything in the comments or send me a private message if you prefer.
Q56. What is your favorite language? What languages do you speak?
A56. Without a doubt Spanish! I know people will think I am biased, since I am married to an Argentinean, however I was already obsessed with the language before I even met my husband. Every word of it is so beautiful, colorful, and vibrant. Besides English and Spanish, I also speak German and Mandarin Chinese. I dream of learning Portuguese one day as well, since I want to live in Brasil.
Q57. What is your favorite airport in the world?
A57. I loved Mataveri Airport (IPC), which is located in Isla De Pascua/Easter Island, Chile. It is an outdoor airport with free wifi and a couple of moai statues scattered here and there. In my world it does not get much better than that.
Q58. I am sure this has been asked before, but why did you start blogging in the first place?
A58. I literally just wanted to share my stories and photos with my friends and family. Not for one minute did I think it would turn into a full-time job. I LOVE surprises though!
Q59. What is one of your favorite things on your Bucket List that you have not been able to cross off yet?
A59. I am dying to to cross off #37, which is: Show up at the airport with my bag and passport and take the first available international flight. If someone has done this before please let me know in the comments. and you will instantly become a travel hero of mine.
Q60. What hotel had your most favorite view?
A60. I had to really think about how to answer this question, as I have some seen some extraordinary views from many hotels in my lifetime. I believe my most favorite is from a pousada in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil called Rio 180° Hotel — it has sweeping views of one of the most stunning cities in the world, hence its name.
For this giveaway, I am offering the chance to win a free Cozy Wall Art decal (up to $60 in value). Question/request: do u travel w a tripod? I miss seeing ur face 🙂 plus at the end of my trips I’m always sad bc I never have pics w andre – except the ones other people take that aren’t great.
Ahh your bucket list #37 sounds so cool! With my luck, I’d show up at the airport with summery clothes and have to book tickets to Siberia. 😉 (Did you go to school to learn all of those languages?? Or use a program? I know German, but I would love to pick up one or two more… just trying to figure out the best way to go about it!)
What’s your fav wall art?
The airport sounds lovely! I really like Koh Samui airport because it’s all little kind of huts outside- so cute.
I was just looking at wall art the other day! Easter Island is on my bucket list!
I didn’t know you spoke so many languages! I took years and years of Spanish but still cannot speak fluently…I think I must go live in a Spanish-speaking country, then! Haha, I’d love to just go to the airport and take the next flight out! If money weren’t an issue, I’d do that immediately..but I’m also a planner, so that might be hard ;P Also, great giveaway!!
