New York Theater District: Where To Eat And Drink

Spend a night on the town with your girlfriends in the New York Theater District. Full of hidden gems, spend an evening enjoying drinks, dinner, dessert, and more! These are the perfect spots to stop by before or after a great play or musical. Going to dinner in the theater district does not mean you have to have a show in mind, find last minute Broadway tickets on your phone while you sip a drink. Here are a few of our favorite spots to frequent in Midtown:

Drink The Lambs Club

132 West 44th St.

Treat yourself to a pre- or post-show drink at this bar and restaurant. This lavish two-floor tribute to Manhattan luxury is owned by Food Network’s Geoffrey Zakarian. Order a craft cocktail or glass of wine at the upstairs bar for an experience you and your friends will not forget. With hand cut ice, custom glassware, and meticulously crafted beverages made with fresh pressed juices; prepare to be amazed at this Midtown haven.

Tip: On Tuesdays through Thursdays, The Lambs Club features a rotating selection of DJs from 6pm-11pm.

Drink – Lillie’s Victorian Establishment

249 W 49th St.

Named after the famous British actress, socialite Lillie Langtry, this restaurant pays homage to her legacy with ornate decorations and an eclectic menu. Enjoy a seasonal cocktail while soaking up the atmosphere with friends. From their antique marble bar and furnishings, to a fine selection of whiskeys, scotches and wines, this establishment will certainly get you in the mood for a Broadway show.

Tip: Do not go to Lillie’s without trying their “Famous Shameless” cocktail.

Eat Lucy’s Cantina Royale

If you are craving Tex-Mex, head over to Lucy’s Cantina Royale for frozen margaritas and guacamole. Grab your burrito fix before or after your show, or order some tacos and chips to share with your friends. You will not want to miss out on their happy hour from 4-7PM, so you can get your margarita on.

Tip: Their rooftop is open all year long with heaters for the cooler months.
