Tacos al pastor

Chiles en nogada

This one is a patriotic Mexican dish and boasts of all the three colors of the Mexican flag. Poblano chilies are filled with a mixture of chopped meat, fruits and spices called the picadillo. A walnut-based cream sauce and pomegranate seeds are served alongside. This dish is unique from the Puebla region, and they were first served to the liberator and the emperor of Mexico Don Agustin de Itrubide.


It is the Mexican corn on the cob. The corn is traditionally boiled and served on a stick or a cup along with a heavy dose of salt, chili, butter, cheese, mayonnaise, lime, and sour cream.


It dates back to Mayan age. Corn and flour tortillas are filled with meat, cheese, beans, seafood, and vegetables. A very popular Mexican breakfast, Enchiladas are served after covering them in chili sauce.


Pronounced ‘mol-eh’ is a rich sauce which boasts of 20 ingredients for its preparation. Various types of chili peppers are stirred continuously for a long period. A special delicacy is the mole poblano which is rusty red sauce applied generously over a serving of turkey or chicken.
