April 4, 2020

It is never too early to start planning your next vacation. There are loads of destinations to choose from, which can sometimes make planning a bit difficult. Do you want to visit a destination with beautiful mountains or one with exotic beaches? Do you want to visit a tropical paradise or a lavish city? The choices are quite diverse, and when you want everything, it can be challenging to make a decision.

Therefore, in today’s post, I am going to tell you about the eight destinations that are perfect for your next vacation in 2020. So, keep reading to learn more:

Japan

From the breathtaking skyline and new neon lights of Tokyo to the natural beauty, and serenity of the many temples and shrines in Kyoto, Japan is a country that shows a fascinating amalgamation of tradition and modernity.

There are various must-visit destinations in this country. Kyoto is well visited by tourists since the Gion traditional district is well-preserved and charming. If you are thinking about where to stay in Kyoto, Gion, and Downtown Kawaramachi are highly recommended areas.

Another great thing about japan is that traveling inside the country is very easy and efficient. Using the bullet train, you can move between cities very quickly and comfortably. Lastly, do not forget to try some sushi and other delicious Japanese dishes while you are there.

Vietnam

If you want to visit a tropical destination, skip the crowded and touristy destinations like Thailand, and visit Vietnam. Vietnam has a lot to offer, from the majestic marble mountains of Danang to the backwaters of Mekong Delta, from the global heritage sites and temples to the bustling city of Hanoi, this country has something for everyone.

Above that, consider the rich and unfortunate history of the region, which makes the place even more fascinating. The country holds its own when it comes to tropical sceneries, but it isn’t any less in terms of food either, so don’t miss out on some authentic Vietnamese cuisine like pho noodles.

Paris, France

Paris, the city of lights, has a lot to offer potential travelers. There is just something about this city that attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists every year. The historic Louvre museum, the majestic Eiffel tower, the monumental Arc de Triomphe, the Notre Dame, the list keeps going on.

This fantastic destination also has loads of five-star hotels and fabulous cafes. The cuisine is exquisite, and the people are amazing. This is a destination that you must visit if you are planning a vacation with your partner.

Sydney, Australia

Sydney is the capital of New South Wales, and the most populated city in Australia and is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The people are very welcoming, and the beaches are perfect for a summer vacation. Moreover, the Sydney opera house is a marvel of modern architecture, and nearby you will also be able to visit the Sydney harbor.

The flight to Sydney is not going to be short; therefore, make sure that you have all the essentials for a comfortable trip. Bring some earplugs and consider buying a pocket sound amplifier, which will allow you to hear your traveling partners no matter how noisy the environment is.

Iceland

This beautiful Nordic island is one of the most peaceful destinations in the world, and it is especially famous because of its dramatic and fascinating terrain.

At night, you can witness the breathtaking northern lights, which is an otherworldly experience. Because of the abundant glaciers and volcanoes, Iceland has many natural hot springs that make for an excellent romantic getaway with your partner.

Make sure to visit the capital city of Reykjavík as well, where most of the population lives. The city has some fantastic museums which you can visit, and many restaurants and other attractions as well.

Hong Kong

Hong Kong is one of the most incredible cities in the world. The city connects with the sea on one side and has luscious jungles on the rest, which add to its beauty. Though accommodation in the city is quite expensive, it is worth it.

Hong Kong has loads of affordable Michelin starred restaurants and it has some of the tallest skyscrapers in the world. Aside from the central city, you need to visit Lantau Island, where the gigantic monument of big buddha stands, also check out the famous Ocean Park and Hong Kong Disneyland if you are a fan of amusement parks.

Austria

Forget about Switzerland, if you want to experience the exotic sceneries of Europe, visit its less touristy and, in my opinion, more scenic neighbors — Austria. Apart from the natural landscape, you need to visit Vienna, the capital of the country.

The medieval architecture, cafes, and cobbled streets make this city exquisitely charming. You can also visit Salzburg, which is the birthplace of Mozart. The highest waterfall in Europe, the Krimml falls are also located near Salzburg, and you should check them out.

If you find history to be fascinating, you should visit the Kehlsteinhaus, or as it is more commonly known as the eagle’s nest. Kehlsteinhaus is a Third Reich era safe house that was built on top of the Kehlstein mountain. It is also located at about an hour’s drive from Salzburg, and it has some fascinating monuments of WW2 history

South Africa

South Africa is another excellent location that should be on your list of travel destinations for your next holidays. The capital, Cape Town, has made it to the list of must-visit destinations of the world numerous times. It has a lot of amazing hotels and resorts, along with a rich culture.

Apart from the capital city, you should also visit Kruger National Park and enjoy a wildlife safari. You should also plan to visit Table Mountain and the Kalahari Desert if you are planning a trip to South Africa. Another unexpected tourist attraction that makes South Africa unique is its wine industry, which could rival some of the vineyards in France and Italy.

So, there was a list of the best destinations to visit during your next holidays; I hope you found this post entertaining and helpful!
