June 29, 2022

This healthy, easy beet latte has no caffeine. It’s a bright pink latte with a unique sweet vanilla flavour and a nutty taste. It’s the ideal drink to drink before a workout to boost endurance, endurance and energy levels for the rest of the day.

WHAT’S A BEETROOT LATTE?

A beetroot latte can be described as a silky bright pink latte made with no coffee. The beet latte is composed of beetroot powder made from plant-based milk and frothed, naturally sweetened or sweetened with refined sugar-free sweeteners.

It is a sound exhibition upgrading hot beverages to help your energy prior to working out.

WHAT’S BEET POWDER GOOD FOR?

Beetroot powder is made of the juice of beets that are dried and frozen. It’s among the plant powders with the highest dietary nitrate concentration. Even more elevated than the fresh beetroot.

The body’s nitrates get transformed into nitric oxide, a substance that dilates blood vessels to improve blood flow. Therefore, taking beetroot as an endurance athlete is an excellent method to increase:

  • oxygen and blood circulation within the body
  • endurance and energy
  • Recovery of muscle

WHY IS BEETROOT LATTE HEALTHY?

A beetroot pink latte is delicious and healthy to start your day with a healthy, caffeine-free hot beverage. Beet Latte is made of beet powder, a fantastic plant powder with a high nutritional presence. Beet powder provides vital nutrients, such as iron from plants, potassium, and vitamins when you live a vegan life.

The positive health effects that the beets powder is shown to offer to our bodies include:

  • The improvement in blood flow has led to a decrease in heart disease
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Anti-oxidants
  • Rich in vitamins and minerals.

WHEN SHOULD I DRINK A BEET LATTE?

Beet latte can be a fantastic breakfast drink that can increase your endurance and energy levels. If you are using this recipe for a vegan latte for a drink to boost your performance, make sure you drink it three to four hours before your event. This gives the beet powder enough time to get into your system, improve blood flow, and boost your energy level.

BEET LATTE INGREDIENTS

Begin by preparing all of your ingredients. Everything you require to make this caffeine-free vegan recipe using vibrant pink colours is:

  • Beet powder is available to find beet powder at pharmacies, sports shops or in the health aisle of the grocery shop.
  • Canned coconut milk provides a creamy texture to the latte without adding dairy.
  • Almond milk – to create a delicious latte, you’ll need to froth your milk. Almond milk is among the dairy-free options to use in the milk frother. It creates a dense foam that gives an enveloping consistency to drinks.
  • Maple syrup- Stevia drops or any other sweetener you enjoy, sugar-free sweeteners can work.
  • Vanilla extract

DISSOLVE THE PINK MIXTURE

Then, pour the beet powder into a small saucepan, the sweetener of your choice, vanilla extract, and warm water. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is well-mixed. When the beet mix is well-combined, Add the coconut milk and 1/4 cup almond milk. The milk remaining can be used later to garnish the drink with frozen milk.

Conclusion

You can add a dose of coffee to this beetroot-latte recipe. We would suggest making the expresso in the coffee mug first.

Then, top off the espresso with pink coconut milk, and then top it with the almond milk.

But, from a nutrition standpoint, we would not recommend using beet powder as a source of caffeine. Beet powder is rich in vitamin C, and caffeine can hinder the absorption of vitamin C. Incorporating coffee into a beet-latte negates certain advantages to health and the naturally energy-boosting properties that come from the beet powder.
