According to Bloomberg News, Apple Inc’s (AAPL.O) iPhone exports from India have surpassed $1 billion in the five months since April, highlighting the tech giant’s expanding investment on the South Asian country amid New Delhi’s push for local production.

Outbound exports of India-made iPhones, primarily to Europe and the Middle East, are expected to reach $2.5 billion in the fiscal year ending March 2023, nearly doubling the year ending March 2022, according to the article, which cited sources.
