As previously mentioned, Pousada Maravilha was so over-the-top fabulous, that we barely ventured out from the property. We even had our breakfasts delivered to our room, instead of walking 100 feet to the restaurant.
Our lack of inquisitiveness made some of the other “guests” at the hotel very happy.
Soon we had about 20 new friends come to visit us every morning, not because they were interested in getting to know us better, rather they wanted our delicious leftovers. I do not blame them!
I love your pictures. This looks like paradise!!! And could you please send some leftovers to holland… this breakfast looks delicious!
So glad you enjoyed the photos! If I was still in FDN I would totally Fedex you the leftovers!!!
I’m so glad it was everything you hoped it would be! Our honeymoon was the opposite: The resort websites looked SO nice, then we got there to find the quality questionable. Glad that wasn’t the case for you =)
I think I would have thrown the BIGGEST tantrum if the hotels had not lived up to their expectations. I’m so sorry that you had to deal with that on your honeymoon. How awful!
Breakfast in a gorgeous room with a gorgeous man? My idea of heaven!
Exactly! 😉
They are so cute!! 🙂 It’s funny – if creatures were ambling throughout my house at home I would hate it!! But when I’m traveling, they’re somehow charming and delightful. 🙂
Haha very interesting point that is oh so true!
Love your hotel guests! The view’s not bad either. 🙂
I wish that I would have taken more photos, but I wanted to enjoy breakfast rather than play photog. They were really something else! And yeah that view…
What a cool critter!
I’m a fan!
The food looks fresh and yummy!
Definitely both!!!
