Macau: Day 3 (Part 2)

June 4, 2012

Before checking into our rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel Macau, we were given a personal tour of the outrageously luxurious Rock Star suites.  If only those walls could talk — oh the stories they would share!

Described as, “Blending the legendary rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle with individualized, exclusive touches, these contemporary spaces feature sensational designer decor and state-of-the-art technology.”  While these words succinctly describe the 2 suites, I think pictures of them are more apt to do them justice.  So, indulge with me for a brief moment in a day dream of sorts, one in which you are a famous celebrity and staying somewhere like this is not a possibility, rather a necesity.  Welcome to your Rock Star suite. . .

What is your favorite detail about the suites?  Mine?  Well, take a look below!

What could possibly be cooler than a room with a mechanical bull?  Of course, before we got too comfortable in our surroundings we were then led to our own rooms a few floors below. . .

OMG. I’ve seen stripper poles, a bowling lane and lots of hot tubs – but a bull?! Simply amazing. Want to become a rock star now just so I can stay there and order lavender lemonade cocktails all day, every day.

Hahahaha I love that you left a list!
      1) Agree completely! I think you’d probably use the bar instead.
      2) I think there were 2-3 in each room?
      3) The piano was signed by someone famous, but I couldn’t make out who!
      4) BEYOND gorgeous!!!
      4) Ridiculous right? I can’t even imagine what celebs have been on that thing…

What a gorgeous hotel! That bath tub is AMAZING! And I love that it has a kitchen, too, makes travel so much easier (at least it makes it feel less of a culture shock when you have the capability to cook your own food if you like).

Beautiful photos as always Andi – you really captured the vibrancy and decadence of the suite and your eye for detail is flawless. It’s crazy to think how the other half live – that mechanical bull is insane – I love it!

I agree, it is hard to believe that there are people that take this stuff for granted!!! I personally never will. I feel like traveling the world keeps me grounded. This was luxury at its finest for sure!

OMG I love mechanical bulls! I have never seen hotel suites quite like this… I think this is what I would imagine behind the scenes in Vegas. Amazing!

You know, I always thought a round bed would be annoying because your feet would hang off.

    No?

    Just me?

Yeah… I can’t say I’d let that stop me from accepting the suite if they gave it to me. 😉
