At the beginning of 2012, I was invited to join TWIN: Toyota Women’s Influencer Network. It is such an honor and privilege to have joined a community supporting a brand that I so passionately believe in. Here is a look at the first six posts that I wrote in regards to my relationship with Toyota. The next six posts will detail my trip to Los Angeles, California where I met with executives and toured headquarter facilities. One of the things that I learned about during my time there was that Toyota employees uphold a Japanese philosophy at work called kaizen, which means “to always keep improving.” I have always lived my life with this idea in mind — no wonder I have always felt so connected with extraordinary company.
Disclosure: I was selected for participation in the TWIN community through a program with Clever Girls Collective. I did not receive any compensation for writing this post, or payment in exchange for participating. The opinions expressed herein are mine, and do not reflect the views of the Toyota.
Wonderful work!
Thanks!
That’s interesting to hear that the company still holds to Japanese values today, even though it’s now a major multinational.
Isn’t it interesting? Japanese culture is a big part of the company.
I’m a big believer in continuously improving oneself as well!
Awesome!
I’m thinking of getting a Toyota…
You should, you’d love it!
