Three States To Visit In The United States

April 24, 2017

If you are visiting the United States, you may be overwhelmed by the sheer number of extraordinary destinations found in this massive country. Even though the media might portray the United States as a homogenous culture and landscape, this could not be further from the truth. The United States has many different climates, cultures, and varieties of human-made wonders. You could not see all there is to see in a whole lifetime of travel, so it is important to prioritize and see the best in your limited travel time. We have three awesome suggestions that will give you a broad range of experiences:

Florida

There is no state like Florida in the whole United States. If you go in the early summer, you will be able to enjoy the weird and wonderful culture in heavenly weather. Warm and sunny, there is plenty of beach-centric activity to be had in Florida, as well as some of the country’s most exciting theme parks. Summer holidays to Tampa in Florida are a tradition of Americans from all the other 49 states, and you will soon see why when you visit yourself. Whether you love wilderness or tourist-packed cities, Florida has something for everyone. The price of visiting Florida varies greatly depending on what time of year you go. Find the kind of weather you enjoy most (Florida has temperatures from cool to sweltering) and schedule a trip you will not soon forget.

New England

For those who do not want to frolic in the sun, New England may have just what you are looking for. New England is made up of six states: Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. These are some of the earliest colonies settled in the America’s pre-Revolutionary days. If you love seafood and salt water, New England’s coastal cities have tremendous charm and personality. For a taste of city life, Boston and Providence have a lot to offer in the way of food and activities. Some people enjoy renting a car and just driving around enjoying the natural beauty of New England’s magnificent countryside.

California

California is unlike any other state in the United States. In the North, mountainous regions and wine producers dot a sprawling green landscape. In the South, large cities fill enormous swathes of otherwise barren deserts. San Francisco is one of America’s most beautiful cities, and Los Angeles is awe-inspiring in its utter hugeness. Inland a couple of hours, you will find weird dusty wildernesses inhabited by lizards and eccentrics. Explore here for amazing folk art, antiques, and other hidden treasures.

These three states will only scratch the surface of the wonders you can find in the United States, but they are as good a place to start as any. Take as many days as you can spare to explore these American treasures. Once you have seen them, there is still plenty of unexplored America to journey through. A great next step might be Hawaii or Alaska, followed by the endless variety of America’s heartland. Visit soon and visit often! America has a lot to offer visitors from overseas.
