There is something incredibly surreal about being asked to tell your own story.
I spend so much of my life documenting the world around me—traveling, photographing beautiful places, sharing experiences on My Beautiful Adventures, raising my son, building my businesses, and creating. I do not often stop long enough to look backward and see how all of those chapters have connected.
Recently, I had the honor of being interviewed by VoyageMIA for their Meet Andi Perullo of North Carolina feature.
And answering their questions gave me one of those rare opportunities to pause.
My journey has never followed a straight line. I have traveled to more than 70 countries, built a career as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, worked as a photographer and content creator, shared nearly two decades of adventures through this blog, became a mother, and experienced seasons of enormous joy alongside seasons that changed me forever.
And somehow, every one of those chapters has brought me here.
Telling My Story
One of the things I have always believed is that our lives are made up of stories worth telling—not only the extraordinary adventures, but the quiet moments, the unexpected detours, the heartbreaks, the reinventions, and the dreams we decide to chase even when we are scared.
That is what made this interview feel particularly meaningful.
It gave me the chance to talk about where I have been, what I have learned along the way, and the experiences that have shaped the woman and storyteller I am today.
At this point in my life, storytelling feels more important to me than ever.
There are still so many places I want to see, photographs I want to take, words I want to write, and stories I want to put into the world.
And I have a feeling this next chapter might be one of the most meaningful adventures yet.
