Surprise, We Have Been Keeping A Secret For Over Three Months!

July 24, 2014

More details in the next post I promise, but I thought it was finally time to share what has been consuming my every waking thought for the last three months: I am going to become a Mommy on February 1st!  My husband and I cannot wait for this new and most beautiful adventure in our lives.  Our future mini-world traveler has already been to the Turks and Caicos, as I eluded to in my last post (FYI: I had no idea I was pregnant when I was there).  I wonder where his or her first international trip will be once it is born? Any guesses?

You did??? Maybe because I was so sick and couldn’t post regularly? The all day nausea has really been very hard for me. I’m going to talk about it in the next post. Thank you so much for your congrats!!! <3

I don’t know, this has happened to me like 4 or 5 times this year already, in some cases I knew my friends were pregnant before they did! Psychic powers, I guess 🙂
Hope you are feeling better my dear, I am never jealous of queasy friends with a baby on the way. Will definitely be worth it in the end and hopefully the nausea is on the way out!

My BFF knew I was preggers before I did! Love it!!! I’m not feeling better yet, but everyone promises me I will in the next couple of weeks. I’m 13 weeks now. All day nausea is the absolute worst. We want to children, but I will have to be talked into having another hahaha! Will definitely be worth it in the end for sure. <3

I’m so excited for you Andi, for sure you will be a wonderful mama and the baby will get to go on plenty of adventures! And that first international trip … can’t wait to hear more! 🙂 Our little ones have been traveling since they were 5 weeks old, that was the time it took to get their passports organised, and it’s been a great adventure for all of us ever since. Enjoy the pregnancy, hope you are feeling fine. And piece of advice I wish I would’ve listened before giving birth to my first one – rest before it’s to late 😉

Woohoo! I’m so happy for you both and I cannot wait for the little one to grow into this world with as much marvel as the mummy. Congratulations, darling. I hope you have an easy pregnancy and I’m looking forward to cheering you along.

What a sweet comment, thank you, you have me in tears with your kind words!!! Unfortunately, the pregnancy hasn’t been the easiest, but now that I’m in the 2nd trimester I hope it finally starts to get easier like everyone says it will. XOXO

You know how thrilled I am for you two, and I’m excited that you’re already far enough along to tell the world! I feel like your suegros might disown you if the little one’s first international trip isn’t to Argentina, so that’s my guess 🙂

Even though time feels like it’s moving sooo slowly due to the all day nausea, it’s also going by very quickly since I’m already in the 2nd trimester, crazy!!! And yes, you’re right, I’m sure the 1st trip will be Argentina haha!

Congratulations, hun! It’s so funny because I was thinking about you a few weeks ago, about the fact that I hadn’t visited your blog in months and months and months and I was thinking to myself, ‘I might have missed something like a pregnancy!’ 😀 So happy for you, hun!!! xx

Awwww I’ve heard Aquarius babies are the best, yay! And yes, the 1st trip will definitely have to be to Argentina. We have the names picked out, but are keeping them a secret for now. Once we find out the gender in a couple of weeks, we’ll probably announce it then!

Wow Andi that is amazing news! Many, many congratulations 🙂

As soon as I saw your blog post title in my inbox I was suspecting it might be this great news.

It will be wonderful having one extra traveller, however in time the costs of travel will just increase. All worth it though. I can’t think of a better education for a child than travel.

Wishing you a very healthy and trouble free pregnancy.

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment, really means a lot to me! I agree, there is no better education than traveling. Hopefully, we’ll be able to afford travel with the increasing costs, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it!!! Thanks again! XO

So exciting!!! Congrats again!!! I can’t wait to read your “traveling with a baby” posts in the near future that are sure to be amazing!!! That is something I am terrified we won’t be able to do after having kids, haha!

I was terrified too for a long time, but I’ve been following so many family travel blogs over the last couple of years that I’m 100% convinced that it’s possible! Thank you for your congrats!!!

Thank you so very, very much for your kind words, they mean more to me than I could ever express. We won’t know the gender until September 8th. It’s hard waiting to find out, we want to know now!!! We have the names picked out and will announce one of them as soon as we find out the sex. 🙂
