How To Make Your Child’s Birthday A Memorable One

January 17, 2019

For children, their birthday is possibly their favorite day of the year. All the attention is on them and they get gifts that they have been asking for for a long time. A great Birthday though is one in which people remember for a long time. Not only should it be amazing for the Birthday kid, but it should also be amazing for everyone invited too.

We will be presenting a couple of tried and tested ideas, but remember that you do not have to go overboard and implement all of these ideas into one Birthday. Also remember that there will be plenty of birthdays to test them all out!

Themed Parties

Themed parties have truly stood the test of time and they are as coveted now as they were when they first became popular. In fact, themed parties have only gotten better over the years.

We have realized that there are two main kinds of themed parties: those for adults and those for kids. For example, if you want your kid to have a Great Gatsby themed party, you and your friends will have the time of your life in it, but the children will not be able to enjoy very much. If your kids love a pool party, a kids foam party los angeles would be a blast. However, if you throw a themed party with a theme of their choice from a cartoon or a movie that they love, all the kids will have a blast.

Of course, you can have two parties, but only do it if you know it will not be a burden on you!

Balloon Avalanches

Balloon avalanches have also been a hit amongst kids for a long time now. They are super simple to set up. You tape a thin cloth to the ceiling and fill it up with a lot of balloons. Tie a string to the cloth that you can pull to bring the cloth down and the avalanche of balloons with it. The best time to do this would be when they are cutting the cake to make the most of that moment. Make sure you capture the moment in a video!

Celebrate A Countdown Week

Children would feel truly special if you celebrate an entire week for their Birthday instead of just one day. So, instead of throwing one, grand party, you can try celebrating the birthday differently every day of the week. Give your child a different gift from a different friend or relative every day. You can also treat them to small things like ice cream or chicken nuggets. It has quite a massive impact in keeping their birthday spirit intact.

Scavenger Hunt

You can make the Birthday even more exciting by organizing a scavenger hunt for the birthday for your child and their friends. You can also keep a prize that the person who finds the most gifts will get. If you want a nice idea for a gift, you can get the best possible electric scooter we have evaluated the top 15 for you.

Surprises

Now, if you can manage to hide the Birthday party from your child and surprise them, that is something they will remember for a long time. Call over all of your kid’s friends and organize the whole thing. Keep the kid out of the house until everything is done. When they come back and see a big party and a mountain of gifts for them, they will be surprised beyond belief!

Get A Special Cake

The cake is undoubtedly the best part of a child’s birthday. The children absolutely need a great birthday cake to make their day memorable. So, you can just ask your children about their current favorite tv shows and cartoons and get a cake depicting a character. You can even get small cupcakes that come together to form a cool picture. All children will be sure to love this cake.

Ask Distant Relatives To Send Cards And Small Gifts

If you have any relatives or friends living far from your home, you can ask them to send over small gifts or cards. Just knowing that they are remembered by so many people will help your child to feel special on their birthday.

Photo Booth

Photo booths are instant hits with children. Just buy or make props by yourself, pay a good photographer to stand by the booth and take pictures of the children in funny poses. You can also get a polaroid for a photo booth. Everyone will have an absolute blast with it.

Games

What is a children’s birthday party without games? Children want to play games with their friends and that is what truly makes their parties memorable. So, you can take all the kids to a Laser Tag place or you can even take them to play paintball. Kids also like miniature golf. Once they tire themselves out with these big games, they come home and play a nicegameof charades to end the day.
