I know every Mom thinks her baby is the cutest in the world, so I am just going to admit it… I think Joaquín is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. His eyes sparkle with love and curiosity, he radiates a joy that draws people to him, and when he smiles I swear everything is right in this world. I am obsessed and blessed — I hope everyone that is reading this post gets to meet him one day!
For this photo shoot, Padàlily’s founder Lily, wanted to show how her new invention, the Canopy Blanket, could be used for both a play mat and as a canopy to cover a car seat while a baby is sleeping. We just let Joaquín do whatever he wanted while I happily snapped away. For his first time modeling and for a baby who tends to hate the camera, I think he did a pretty good job (that is until he started eating the grass)! On a side note: the Canopy Blanket is a must-have item. It is ultra-soft, stylish, and just one of those things that every Mommy needs.
Just for clarification, that is Lily in the photos with Joaquín, not me! I was behind the lens. Which photo is your favorite?
He really is pretty dang cute. I love his little baby smiles! I just became an auntie this summer so I know a fraction of what you must feel, because I am definitely obsessed and absolutely enamoured! Can only imagine what it must feel like when the child is your own!
Awww thank you for your kind words re: Joaquín! And congrats on becoming an Auntie!!! The love you feel is something that truly cannot be described. I hope you get to experience it for yourself one day. XO
While I think my little man is also the cutest thing on the planet, your guy is stinkin’ adorable, too! The spiked hair and collared shirts get me every time. So cute (and what a smart invention!).

Spiky hair is the best right??? Such a great invention. I’m so happy that I got to work with Lily!
Such a tiny cute angel! The 7th photo is my favorite. One day, soon, I hope to get to meet him.
I hope you get to meet him soon! You will just adore him. 🙂
