In a recent post, I mentioned that we bought our first Christmas tree this year as a family in our new home. It was a special moment picking out the perfect tree together with our son. Once we found the right spot in our house for it, we then began to decorate. We bought some really beautiful rose gold, gold, metallic, and silver bulbs that were shatterproof in case Joaquín decided to play with the ornaments (which he did and I am happy to report that they truly are shatterproof). I also had some ornaments that I had collected around the world during all of my travels. We were missing something though — we had no ornaments that were personalized or that we had bought together now that we are a family. I turned to Personalized Creations to remedy our problem. Their personalized Christmas ornaments are truly unique and one-of-a-kind. The following are some that I had made for the tree and as decorations around the house. I intend to purchase some every year, so that one day I will have an amazing collection to give to Joaquín for his first Christmas tree when he has a family of his own.
I chose this ornament for two reasons: 1) I love that it represents the three of us and 2) the adorable animals are wearing the Argentinean flag colors and I knew my husband would appreciate that touch.
From the moment our son was born we have called him “monkey.” When I saw that this sock monkey could be personalized I had to have it for him! Plus, it is not breakable, which is perfect for a curious toddler.
My husband and I love anything that is made out of wood. I thought this wooden ornament would match the decor of our home splendidly, while also commemorating the day we were married.
Let me know in the comments where you tend to purchase your ornaments. Do you buy them on your holidays? Do you look for them when you are out and about during your daily life. Do you hope that people will give them to you as presents? I wish all of my My Beautiful Adventures readers the happiest of Holidays!
