Throughout the experience you will discover colorful installations, giant vats of slime, hands-on activities, immersive rooms, sensory exhibits, and plenty of opportunities for memorable photos. Every room encourages you to touch, play, create, and explore.
It feels like walking into a giant colorful playground designed for kids and adults.
Our Favorite Moments
There were so many highlights throughout our visit.
One of the first things we noticed was how incredibly welcoming and energetic the staff members were. They genuinely wanted everyone to have fun and helped make the experience feel exciting from beginning to end.
The museum is full of colorful photo opportunities, playful exhibits, and interactive stations that invite you to slow down and simply enjoy yourself.

Getting Slimed!
If you have seen videos of Sloomoo Institute online, you have probably seen people standing underneath giant streams of slime.
Yes…it is every bit as fun as it looks.
Guests put on protective ponchos before stepping underneath flowing slime that pours down over their shoulders. Joaquín was laughing the entire time.
Without question, being soaked in slime was his favorite part of the entire experience.
Watching him grin from ear to ear made it one of my favorite moments too.
Create Your Own Slime
After all of the exploring, Joaquín was able to design his own slime to take home.
He loved choosing every detail—from the color to the texture and fun add-ins. Watching him create something uniquely his was such a fun way to end the experience.
It also makes a wonderful souvenir because you leave with something you actually created yourself.
More Than Just Fun
One thing that surprised me was how relaxing many of the activities felt. Several exhibits encourage guests to squeeze, stretch, swirl, and play with slime.
There was even information explaining how squeezing slime has been shown to help reduce stress and promote relaxation. I found myself playing with the slime right alongside Joaquín.
For an hour and a half, we were not thinking about work, school, deadlines, or responsibilities. We were simply laughing together. As parents, those moments become more precious every year.

Although we visited as mother and son, I quickly realized Sloomoo Institute is not just for families with young children.
