I am not going to lie, decorating for the holidays with a baby is beyond tough! It took us a month of debating back and forth whether or not to buy a tree. I am not sentimental about a lot of things, because at the end of the day they are just “things”, thus if he breaks something it is not the end of the world. My family has passed down to me generations old handmade Christmas decorations that have survived the wars and have somehow made their way from Germany to the United States and into my hands. I would be devastated if Joaquín broke them and so I am not taking them out this year.
