If you have been following My Beautiful Adventures recently, then you would know that I am participating in the One Room Challenge. I am making over our kitchen and one of the most important things for me to incorporate is artwork. I am always surprised that people tend to forget to add artwork to their kitchens.
It is definitely no secret that I am obsessed with maps. And if I can personalize them, that just makes them even better. Enter: Minted’s custom map prints. They are truly my new favorite thing! Of course, I just had to add them to the kitchen, so that I could look at them every day.
The maps can be completely customized in every was possible. I chose Hotel Faena in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which is where we were married, as well as Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is where our son was born. After choosing the destinations, I entered their addresses into Google Maps via Minted’s website. It allowed me to see exactly what the map would look like. I could zoom in or out. Then I was able to choose the color of the map. There was no doubt in my mind that I was going to select anything other than their rose gold pressed foil. It is so gorgeous in person! I further selected their reclaimed barn wood frame that matches our floors perfectly.

I absolutely love Minted! I used them for my Save the Dates, and helped my sister design her wedding paper motifs. And the maps – my go-to gift for my friends living abroad! We have maps of Chicago, Seville and Madrid all over our home from Papersource, which has them cheap and for wrapping paper, so they make a perfect size!

those are so cool! i feel like i’m forever learning about new things minted does. the maps are news to me! and i agree with you, the rose gold is stunning 🙂 my map would probably be of a little town in ohio…where my husband and i would go on dates. he lived in PA and I lived in MI while we were dating…so halfway between us was a tiny town where we used to meet to go to the movies/shop/eat for dates once a month!
