SoundBub By WavHello: A Mom-Hack That I Love

October 10, 2016

I have made music a huge part of Joaquín’s life since the moment he was born. I could tell from a very early age that he really enjoyed it and it brought a lot of happiness into his life. Thus, when I heard about a product that combined music with a cute toy, I instantly knew that I had found the perfect Mom-hack that I would definitely come to love.

Moms meet Benji the Bear! He was lovingly created by SoundBub as a portable bluetooth speaker for children ages zero and up. As soon as I received Benji, I immediately created a couple of playlists for Joaquín. I made one for us to dance to together during the day and one with music that is very soothing that I use before nap and sleep time. Benji is the most adorable in our opinion, however there are other options available, such as Bella the Bunny and Ollie the Owl. They have the exact same features, just different styles for whatever your child is most comfortable with.

When we received this little bear we quickly realized just how much of a gem he really is! SoundBub can be paired with any Bluetooth enabled device to play the music you already love. It is also compatible with WavHello’s VoiceShare app, where loved ones can record voice messages, lullabies, or mix/edit their own creations karaoke style. It is easy to play this special content through Benji (I personally need easy when it comes to technology). This is awesome for family living far away — like in our case — where my husband’s family lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. You can make your own customizable playlists for your young ones like I did. The special hide-away handle makes SoundBub portable, since it can hook onto any stroller or car seat or stand on any flat surface. Joaquín carries his around from the couch to the crib daily. SoundBub comes pre-loaded with two white noise tracks that you can activate with one touch of Benji’s bellybutton. More white noise tracks and other soothing content can be accessed within the VoiceShare app. You can adjust the volume, set a timer, it is made with chew-safe material, and has a rechargeable lithium battery. Like I said before, the perfect Mom-hack, right?

We definitely plan to bring Benji on any future trip we might take with Joaquín, as the soothing sounds will create a peaceful and relaxing environment no matter if we are in the car, plane, or hotel room. We all know that sounds are vibrational and can help relax children and make them feel safe.

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of CLEVER and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
