I truly love living in Charlotte, North Carolina and while it continues to evolve daily with exciting new culinary experiences, it still glaringly lacks cafés other than Starbucks. Thus, I was incredibly excited when I was afforded the opportunity to try out a new café called Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea RedStone in the neighboring city of Indian Land in South Carolina. While this café is a chain, it specializes in being community-oriented and locally-owned, with a real-ingredient focus.
See the cool artwork on the walls? That is all done by a local artist. One of the things I really appreciated about the café was it bright and clean aesthetic. And for the caffeine addicts like myself, they sell some cute accessories to support my coffee obsession.
Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea RedStone offers an extensive tea and coffee menu, along with light fare and desserts. Everything I tasted and drank was superb and I am not exaggerating when I say that I drank one of the best lattes of my life. I am still thinking about that foam.
If you are in the Charlotte or Indian Land area I highly recommend stopping by and if you are busy like myself, they even have a drive-thru option! Additionally, if you go to their Facebook page, you can reserve for free their community table, which seats 12.
