Recently, I was invited to the Grand Opening of the Charlotte, North Carolina Springfree Trampoline store. I hope some of my readers were able to make it to the event, as it sure was a lot of fun!
Over a hundred people showed up to the event. Everyone I spoke with told me that they were “absolutely in love” with the trampoline and if they had not bought one yet, they had plans to buy one in the future. The energy was positively joyful!
I brought with me my parents and son and we all enjoyed watching Joaquín have the time of his life discovering a trampoline for the first time. Once he got the hang of jumping, we could not get him to stop.
Springfree Trampoline is the world’s safest trampoline. It began with a simple wish — a dad who wanted a safe trampoline for his daughter. That dad was Dr. Keith Alexander, who also happens to be a Mechanical Engineer and University Professor. The following is how he was able to make Springfree the world’s safest trampoline:
- Eliminated the springs
- Moved the frame to where it is impossible to fall on
- Created a shock-absorbent soft edge mat
- Enclosed it all in a FlexiNet to cushion jumpers and prevent falls
On top of all of this, now Springfree offers tgoma (“take games outside and make them active”) technology. Tgoma is the first outdoor interactive digital gaming system of its kind and is a great tool to encourage young minds in both learning and play. Parents struggle to balance ‘technology’ time with ‘outdoor active’ time. Instead of fighting technology, tgoma leverages technology to transform screen time from an isolating, sedentary activity, into a healthful, engaging experience for the entire family. Tgoma’s games and apps are designed to be fun for everyone, offering an effective physical workout.
